And our spy can’t refuse such a provocating suggestion, of course. So Fisher is terrorist and the best Third Echelon agent at the same time now. And he will have to balance between good and evil all the game long. He will receive the tasks from both gangsters and National Security Agency that, of course, will be completely contradictory. So there is real dilemma: what is better – to help terrorists and not to arouse their suspicions about your real determination or just to ignore the prejustice and to be the fighter for truth and good up to the end? There are two variants of solution in the game and everything will depend on your moral choice.
Make a right one. How will this “ambiguity” depends on gameplay? Actually it won’t. You will have to fulfill all the quests on your hunkers switching off surveillance cameras and not spreading alarm. But now we will take quests from two sources. If you complete only terrorist missions we may lose NSA confidence, if only the Third Echelon’s missions and ignore terrorist quests, you will be murdered by them. So you should better to complete tasks of both sides. If their purposes are fully contradictory it’s up to you to choose.
Many missions of the game will take place in Asia, Africa and USA. As you can see, the spread is quite big. Besides, as developers ensure, there will be missions under water and in the air not only on earth in Double Agent. For example we will control parachute in one of the missions. Our task is successful Fisher’s touchdown here. Work for gangsters will influence the main hero’s appearance.

Maybe you have already seen Sam’s renovated image: his shaven head, visile and purposeful frowningly sight, slim strained lips. You can see Sam in different suits in the screenshots from the game the web is overflown with. Evidently he will be catered with everything necessary (for example with weapons and clothes) by his friends from John Brown’s Army. But that’s impossible not to notice that Sam wears his old latex suit in some pictures that indirectly witnesses that he will have connect with the Third Echelon in some way.
Nobody exclude possibility that developers will make the feature invented by IO Interactive in Hitman where the place where weapons from the agency Mr. 47 worked in was situated was marked on each level of the map. Special light signal holding on the weapons will indicate our security. It acts with traffic lights principle. If the light is green – you are save, if it’s yellow – guards see blurred silhouette, if the light is red – RUN, YOU WERE DESCRIED!
We wait with impatience and love!
So what do we have as a result? We will meet our old familiar Sam Fisher again at the middle of October. The new part of the game has captivating plot, ability of choice between good and evil thus there will be new interesting missions there. We hope very much that developers will produce something new indeed, not another version of the old product.
It’s known that Double Agent is developed for five platforms - PC, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2 and GameCube and each version of the game will have its exclusive content. That’s a real matter for anticipation. Moreover we will not have to wait for a long time.
