More precisely - about the important moments, which will play the certain role and in C & C 3. And first of all - what such Tiberium? Here all is simple enough, it is only very valuable resource of green color with a crystal exterior, which suddenly of beginnings to grow on the Earth. Certainly, all this piece of an obviously unearthly origin, but which - question is clear, that. But it not so is important, main, that a resource very valuable, but not less radioactive and dangerous so to concern to it is necessary from the large share of care. And to concern it is necessary - and that and from the Earth there will be nothing, Tiberium will eat all. However, never similar dangers were a barrier to struggle of the world corporations for a most valuable resource. Yesterday such corporations were GDI and NOD. Today, however, they be not divided anywhere.
If to consider the concept C&C 3 from the point of view of ordinary RTS, GDI plays a role good guys (primary color - dark yellow), about what the most interesting decoding - " Global Defense Initiative " speaks, and his constant opponent - Brotherhood of NOD, becomes, accordingly, " bad guys " (and is proud puts on itself dark red color of a terror). But the strategy about Tiberium is not usual. Each grouping here has the history, leaders, principles and purpose. If also to note, that the action occurs in not such already far future, these groupings can be compared to modern societies. GDI (characteristic features: high technologies, American tanks, Hollywood smiles etc.) ÅÀ modestly compares to NATO, however it is obvious, that GDI = USA. To guess, who such NOD - is uneasy. The eternal opponents of America, country of the third world angered and oppressed are going in a sect of planetary scale "a Brotherhood NOD". Characteristic features: malicious intentions, backward engineering, high battle spirit.
It is a little developing a theme about the Hollywood smiles. If to explain easier, between missions the video-inserts were shown to the player which were removed by a principle of films - with the real actors, special effects and so on. And if in Emperor: Battle for Dune similar (one) looked by a not so serious parody and hid (practically unsuccessfully, we shall note) backwardness of the game (two), in Tiberian Sun similar was looked very much, it is interesting and " to a place ".
And, certainly, large role played units. And an especial role played unique unit is a famous walking tank on a nickname Mammoth. For me this machine is comparable, perhaps, to the sonic-tank from legendary Dune 2 - strong, " is sick fragile " and beautiful piece. Well both other machines and people extreme precisely showing to the player the world of the future - all this an important detail of the game world.
So, the wars proceed. On a court yard - Third World war. That such " Tiberium Wars " - alternative history or continuation of an old plot, - to tell difficultly. It is necessary to note, that on a new global card there will be three color territories: light-blue, yellow (territory NOD, increased radiation, disaster, Tiberium) and red (home center of disasters, field of Tiberium, not a place for life).
